                              Assy v. Eichenhain      (30-03-1964)

This black male was a Dutch working and conformation Champion. He did very well in all of his schutzhund trials as well as becoming the first Dutch Dobermann to pass a Tracking examination. His temperament and character was superb. He was outstanding in manwork.

He was not an elegant dog but his body was compact and tough. He was very heavy, masculine and had a head that impressed many people. In Germany he was banned from breeding because of his HD-4 score. It’s a sad thing as his strong hereditary qualities could have been an advantage for the development of the breed in Europe. In Holland and other countries he had a HD-2 score. Cesar sired some excellent progeny without any HD problems and the most important contribution to the breed was his son Baron Bryan von Harro’s Berg.
